Sandboro House Farm

Introduction
Sandboro House Farm is nestled in the picturesque Staffordshire countryside, enveloped by fields and waterways. The property has been cherished by a single family for over 200 years, preserving its historical essence virtually untouched. What was once the vibrant hub of a thriving farm gradually succumbed to neglect until our client stepped in. Presently, our client is diligently revitalizing the property, breathing new life into its storied existence.

The Brief
The primary objective for this property was renovation and subsequent sale. Consequently, the client aimed for the property to exude a genuine "wow" factor. The structure featured a blend of various material finishes, highlighted by a charming front elevation that encapsulated the farmhouse aesthetic. However, the rear of the property lacked the same level of glamour. To address this, the client sought to concentrate efforts on creating a showstopping rear elevation, thereby transforming the property into the stunning family home it is destined to become.

Proposal
After thorough deliberation, the Hawkstone team devised a proposal to enhance the property. The plan involved adding a spacious double garage on the side and a rear extension featuring a full-height vaulted ceiling, thereby transforming the dining space into an impactful and memorable area. Furthermore, the team took care to frame the rear property views, ensuring they are visible from various angles and planes within the house, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.
