The design at Hanbury Park Gate Farm is rooted in a clear architectural narrative: contemporary rural living expressed through simple forms, honest materials, and a strong relationship with the landscape. Traditional agricultural proportions are reinterpreted with crisp detailing, generous glazing, and modern construction, creating buildings that feel both familiar and distinctly modern.

Natural materials such as brick, timber cladding, and slate are used to anchor the architecture within its rural context, while large areas of glazing are carefully positioned to frame views, maximise daylight, and strengthen the connection between inside and out. The massing is broken down into barn-like volumes to reduce visual impact and sit comfortably within the setting.
